Welcome

Welcome to the on line ministry of El Shaddai Baptist Cyber Ministry. In this day when some churches have come up short in ministring to our seniors and elders, it is my joy to bridge that gap. Some of you may be wondering about this name. It comes from Genesis 17:1 and is used 48 times in the Old Testament. The literal meaning of this word is the mighty or almighty God.

(Gen 17:1)"And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect."

We are not a replacement for a local church, but are well aware that many members of churches have been de churched by the church growth movement. You are invited to join we have no requirements other then aggrement with one of the churches many statements of faith. You will find some on this site. If you are in aggreement with another let us know which one. Again this is not a church, but a place to join in faith in God's Word and worship of Jesus Christ. God is sovereign in heaven and we need to fall on our faces before Him and His Son.

Start looking here for information about El Shaddai and its ministry to support and defend Sola Scriptura. We are not a church, but do take off where some churches have dropped people who need the fellowship of God's people.

God bless and Sola Scriptura

Fountain Filled with Blood

There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuels1 veins.

1. Cyber Hymnal

There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel’s veins;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
Lose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day;
And there have I, though vile as he, washed all my sins away.
Washed all my sins away, washed all my sins away;
And there have I, though vile as he, washed all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood shall never lose its power
Till all the ransomed church of God be saved, to sin no more.
Be saved, to sin no more, be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed church of God be saved, to sin no more.

E’er since, by faith, I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die.
And shall be till I die, and shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die.

Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I’ll sing Thy power to save,
When this poor lisping, stammering tongue lies silent in the grave.
Lies silent in the grave, lies silent in the grave;
When this poor lisping, stammering tongue lies silent in the grave.

Lord, I believe Thou hast prepared, unworthy though I be,
For me a blood bought free reward, a golden harp for me!
’Tis strung and tuned for endless years, and formed by power divine,
To sound in God the Father’s ears no other name but Thine.
